Are you living in, or visiting Kuwait? If you are already a qualified diver, why not come out with our well-established club? If you want to learn to dive, we can also offer training. Please explore the site through the links on the left. We look forward to hearing from you. Since 2020 with the new Mantas 4 boat, the Club is now able to take groups of 10 divers at a go.

Start of the 2024 Season

Welcome to the Kuwait Mantas Diving Club, an overseas branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC). An active diving club in Kuwait since 1977, that continues to thrive.

As a club we welcome both BSAC members and those from any recognized training agency. Once a BSAC member you can take advantage of our training, which we run throughout the year. We regularly also run courses for those wishing to learn to dive.

An important part of the club is its weekly social. Every Tuesday a member takes a turn to host. This is a great time to meet other divers and like-minded people.

Other events for club members and friends are held regularly throughout the year.

Diving in Kuwait can vary from bright shallow reefs to more challenging drift dives and deeper, darker explorations, weather permitting. From Khiran, where our boat is kept, we can access most sites within an hour of leaving shore. Wildlife to be seen in Kuwait waters includes turtles, corals, schools of small barracuda, the occasional whale-shark (allegedly!), and a fantastic array of reef fish, including several species of sting ray and some *very* big puffer fish. So, what are you waiting for? Let's get diving!

Much of the organizing of dives and training is done at the weekly social, but if that is not convenient just email the Expeditions Officer.

Mails are generally answered within a few days. For unknown reasons completely beyond Kuwait Mantas Diving Club control, a reply could be redirected to your spam folder. If you have not received a reply from us within a reasonable period then we would recommend checking spam folders. Should there subsequently be no trace of any reply at all, please do not hesitate to write again.
